Embark on an exciting journey through the heart of Ponce, inspired by the famous chorus from Héctor Lavoe’s iconic song “Ponce”. The majestic city of Ponce, also known as the Pearl of the South, is the birthplace of numerous legendary musicians across various genres. In opera, we celebrate Antonio Paoli; in danza, Juan Morel Campos; in ballads, Ednita Nazario; and in salsa, the city boasts legends like Héctor Lavoe, Cheo Feliciano, La Terrífica, La Sonora Ponceña, Yolanda Rivera, Pete “El Conde” Rodríguez, Ismael Quintana, and Joe Rodríguez, among others.

During this captivating 4-hour tour, you’ll explore emblematic tourist spots connected to salsa music, such as the iconic Parque de Bombas Museum, the Cheo Feliciano Walkway, the Ponce Cultural Center, and the Music Museum. Additionally, you’ll visit Héctor Lavoe’s tomb, the community museum Club Cantera dedicated to Pete “El Conde” Rodríguez, murals of Ponce’s salseros, vibrant salsa venues, and the famous house of Doña Monse, as mentioned in Lavoe’s songs.
